• Processing Time: Usually 3–5 business days.
• Entry Points: The eVisa is valid for entry through international airports (e.g., Manas International Airport in Bishkek, Osh International Airport) and some land border crossings.

3. Visa on Arrival (VOA)

Visa on arrival is available at Manas International Airport in Bishkek for travelers from certain countries.

• It is possible to apply for a visa on arrival if you hold an invitation letter or pre-approved visa support.
• Not all nationalities are eligible for this, so check in advance.

4. Visa Types

If you are not eligible for visa-free entry or an eVisa, you will need to apply for a visa at a Kyrgyz consulate or embassy.

• Tourist Visa:
  • Valid for up to 60 days.
  • Requires proof of accommodation and travel plans.
• Business Visa:
  • For business-related travel.
  • Requires an invitation letter from a Kyrgyz company or organization.
• Work Visa:
  • Required for those who will be working in Kyrgyzstan.
  • Requires an employment contract or job offer from a Kyrgyz employer.
• Student Visa:
  • Required for those studying at Kyrgyz educational institutions.
  • Proof of enrollment is needed.

5. Transit Visa

If you’re traveling through Kyrgyzstan on your way to a third country, a transit visa can be issued for up to 5 days.

• Requires an onward ticket and proof of your travel route.

6. Special Notes

• Registration:
  • Travelers who stay more than 60 days or are on a visa are required to register with the State Registration Service in Kyrgyzstan.
  • Short stays under 60 days don’t need registration for most nationalities.
• Visa Extensions:
  • Tourist visas can generally be extended in Kyrgyzstan if needed. You must apply before your current visa expires.

Holders of resident visas (with a valid residence permit) of
United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman can obtain a one-month tourist visa for Kyrgyzstan upon arrival at Bishkek airport. Please note that your residence permit must be valid for at least 180 days from the date of your arrival in Kyrgyzstan.
